MY COMPANY PROJECTS O.E., a company based in Thessaloniki with many years of experience in developing advanced digital solutions, Artificial Intelligence technologies and cloud infrastructures, is pleased to announce its participation as a partner in the European ERASMUS+ project titled “Modernising Emergency Response through Personalised Educational Frameworks Using Artificial Intelligence”, with the acronym EMPATH.
The EMPATH project is implemented under the KA220-VET Action “Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training” of the Erasmus+ programme, coordinated by the International Hellenic University (through the ASSIST Laboratory), with the participation of five organisations from four European countries: MY COMPANY PROJECTS O.E. (Greece), MANIBUS OOD (Bulgaria), the Military Academy “General Mihajlo Apostolski” (North Macedonia), and APVET – Associação Portuguesa de Instituições VET (Portugal). The project has a duration of 36 months (01/09/2026 – 31/08/2029) and is co-funded by the European Union, with a total budget of €250,000.
Aim and Scope of the Project
EMPATH aims to strengthen education in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) within Vocational Education and Training, equipping future and active first responders with practical knowledge and skills in prevention, preparedness and coordination. The project will develop a shared European competence framework and a modular curriculum, training materials based on realistic disaster scenarios, and a digital learning platform featuring an AI-supported self-assessment tool. Trainer capacity-building activities and simulation workshops will validate the educational content in practice, while dissemination actions and policy recommendations will support the long-term integration of the project’s results into VET systems at European level.
The Role of MY COMPANY PROJECTS O.E.
Within the project, MY COMPANY PROJECTS O.E. is responsible for coordinating Work Package 3 (WP3: Digital Platform and AI-Supported Self-Assessment Tool). Drawing on its expertise in Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Big Data, Edge/Cloud Computing and the development of digital educational environments, the company will design and develop the project’s digital learning platform, the skills self-assessment tool, and the AI-based personalised learning-pathway recommendation system, ensuring accessibility, data protection and interoperability.
Participation in EMPATH builds on MY COMPANY PROJECTS O.E.’s active presence in European and national co-funded projects and confirms the company’s commitment to developing innovative digital solutions with social impact, supporting climate change adaptation and strengthening the resilience of European societies.
